These two Oklahoma stalwarts of the neo-psychedelic scene joined forces for a unique take on the seminal 1973 Pink Floyd album. Far more abrasive and in-your-face than the Floyd original, you can’t say the Lips and Stardeath only attempt to retread the original—they really put their stamp on it, for better or worse. These are my favorite songs from their bracing cover album.
