Combining the forces of Deap Vally and The Flaming Lips, this quirky collaboration drew upon the bands’ forays into psychedelia and punk/garage rock. It’s a hodgepodge for sure, but the best tracks on their self-titled album manage the right amount of cosmic black magic. With the limited number of songs, I’ve reduced this to my five favorite tracks from the alliance of Coyne, Drozd, Edwards, and Troy.
